Laporta said: "We remain interested in Alvarez. If Atletico Madrid are willing to sell him during this transfer window, we are ready to make an offer at any time. We will handle all matters while communicating with Atletico Madrid and work towards Alvarez's signing based on an offer acceptable to both parties."
