Laporta: Barcelona would like to have Napoli midfielder Lobotka

Barcelona president Joan Laporta has confirmed their interest in Napoli midfielder Stanislav Lobotka.

Barca coach Xavi declared his admiration for Lobotka earlier this month.

The Slovakia midfielder's agent, Branislav Jasurek, has also stated Barcelona wants to sign the 30-year-old this summer.

Now Jasurek's comments are also confirmed by Laporta: "We have had a talk with Deco (sporting director) about it, and Barcelona would like to have him.

"But many things must be sorted out first."

obotka is contracted with Napoli until the summer of 2027. There is also an option to extend the contract by a year.
