Laporta charges against Real Madrid: "It seems that they want to blow everything up"

According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona president Joan Laporta expressed confidence in the team's form before a lunch meeting with Real Betis executives and strongly criticized Real Madrid's recent attacks on La Liga, stating that Real Madrid "It seems that they want to blow everything up."

Barcelona will face Real Betis, aiming to extend their winning streak since the start of the season. This victory would also solidify the team's good form ahead of a crucial week featuring matches against Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid. Laporta expressed confidence in maintaining this perfect momentum before his lunch meeting with Betis management.

oan Laporta has raised the tone against Real Madrid ahead of a week that he presents as a great opportunity for Barcelona. The Barça president, who has shown his enthusiasm for the commitments against Betis, PSG and the white team, has accused the Madrid club of maintaining an attitude of permanent attack against the institutions of Spanish football.

"It seems that they want to blow everything up, that they want to blow up the League, that they want to blow up the Technical Committee of Referees. They are not happy with the Federation either, they are not happy with anything," he said when asked about the Clásico and the refereeing controversy.

Laporta has accompanied his criticism with an explicit defense of Javier Tebas, whom he considers prepared to respond to Madrid's position. "How lucky that we have Javier Tebas as president of La Liga, who has the experience that these issues require and also has good judgment to combat these attacks that Madrid are making," he said.

The Barcelona leader insisted that the Whites should review their own decisions: "They are looking for a thousand excuses because they cannot accept the situation they are in, which is given by their own decisions. They would have to make a self-criticism."

In the same vein, he has once again backed the president of LaLiga: "Luckily Javier Tebas is hardened in these battles and is not intimidated by this attitude of Real Madrid". Asked afterwards about the club's alleged nervousness, Laporta wanted to close the matter: "I don't care what Real Madrid do, to say the least, as long as they don't mess with Barça."

"We are very excited to mark territory in Paris"

The Barça president also expressed his confidence in Hansi Flick's team, which he praised together with Deco for the construction and management of the squad. "We have a great team, a team that competes very well," he said, highlighting the talent, motivation and collective spirit of his players.

Laporta has placed the match against Betis first, which he considers one of the teams that play the best football in the competition. Then comes the visit to PSG, a duel that he has presented as "the dream match for the world of football".

"I think they are the two teams that are in the best shape and exhibit the best football," he defended. And he added: "We have many illusions and hopes of marking territory in Paris".

Looking back on the 4-1 win over Galatasaray in Istanbul, Laporta has shown his excitement for a sequence of matches that will culminate in the Clasico: "We are living this moment of Barça with pride and with the desire to enjoy every minute of it".
