Lazio director Tare: Italian Super Cup is a very important trophy for us

Lazio director Igli Tare wants to “bring home this every important trophy” as they face Juventus for the Supercoppa Italiana.

“We want to bring home this very important trophy,” the director of sport told Rai Sport.

This is the battle between Scudetto holders Juve and Coppa Italia winners Lazio, essentially the Italian version of the Charity Shield.

They already met only a couple of weeks ago in Serie A, Lazio emerging 3-1 winners.

“We know Juve will be a very different team this evening, but we have been completely focused on each individual game this season and that is what we aim to do tonight as well.”
