After two consecutive LaLiga Santander victories, Levante coach Paco Lopez will lead his time at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu for the first time and despite Real Madrid's wretched run of form, was full of praise for his counterpart Julen Lopetegui.
The Granotas coach doesn't believe Los Blancos are in a crisis and is wary of a reaction against his side.
"Madrid are always a feared team at their ground and we will never know if it's better to play against them in their best moment or when things are more urgent," Lopez said in a press conference.
"It's clear that Madrid have a squad and a coach that aspire to win everything and we most focus on what we can do.
"We need a big collective work, an extra ounce of effort and to continue to be daring.
"That's something we mustn't lose as of course there will be times when it will be difficult."
Lopez also commented on Lopetegui's situation and that of the modern day coach.
"I understand perfectly how the world of football works," he continued.
"We go from one extreme to another easily and all of us coaches understand it.
"We know that we are at risk to this type of situation.
"Julen Lopetegui has more than proved what a coach he is."
Finally the Levante boss suggested how his side would try to cause an upset in the Spanish capital.
"It's difficult to imagine us dominating the game," he admitted.
"What we want to do is make Madrid feel uncomfortable with the ball and then be an uncomfortable team ourselves.
"With the ball we need to be brave and try to cause damage."

Who would want that job, it's a thankless task. You don't pick who gets signed, you probably dont have 100% control on who the starting 11 is. You can win the league, finish runner up in champs league and get sacked. Win champs league, finish 2nd in the league and get sacked. Or win both and its already been done before, no big deal. Then you have the worlds worst fans to deal with, week in, week out.

It's obvious why Zidane quit...could not handle the rebuilding stage that he saw coming with Ronaldo ageing..and probably why managers like Poch turned it down too. Zidane profited from previous managers like Mourinho who had built up the squad, just took over when it was a ready made already winning squad, ...just goes to show, few elite managers in world football today.

Unbelievable how Florentino has played and used Lopetegui...snatching him before WC (thus avoiding the risk of him failing at WC and consequently not being a valid option)....and now throwing him to the bin like a used Kleenex.

Lopetegui has an impossible task. I read an article today that he is Madrid's Moyes. I agree in some ways with that. They can only top last season if they also win the league next to the CL. Of course they still have phenomenal players but a lot of them are ageing and will not be at the very top level for much longer. The young prospects are good but they need time. Mariano can't score 40 goals, let alone 20I Bale is superb but only fit for half the games and without him their attacking threat is also split in half. They should give Lopetegui time to build something. If they sack him, the next mAnager will have the same problem.

Next real Madrid manager is Guti. Lopetegui will remain the manger till he is ready.
