Zinedine Zidane's return to Real Madrid is seen as a potential turning point in their history across the Spanish newspapers.
He was confirmed as Real's new manager on Monday, having left the Santiago Bernabeu just 10 months ago after winning a third consecutive Champions League crown.
Sport, which is published in Barcelona, leads with the headline 'Lifesaver'. It adds: 'Florentino Perez has announced the surprise return of Zidane, who becomes his last bullet to survive the crisis at Los Blancos'.
Mundo Deportivo, also based in Barcelona and the more popular of the two papers from that city, have splashed with 'El RenaZZido', a play on words using Zidane's initials around the phrase 'the reborn'.
They also wrote: 'He admitted that it is "a great challenge" and he did not reveal his plans but he announced that "things are going to change"'.
AS have a picture of the Real Madrid legends involved at Zidane's presentation on Tuesday, including Raul and Alvaro Arbeloa.
Their headline declares: 'Zidane returns with full powers'. That comes in reference to why he decided to leave and how Florentino Perez has given him carte blanche in the summer market to convince him to return.
They also include Zidane's quote from the presentation. He said: 'I just couldn't say no.'
Marca have gone more simple with their headline, which reads: 'Zidane, the hero returns'. They have also put a quote from the manager on the front page: 'Let's change things.'
L'Equipe, in Zidane's native France, have also got a picture of the World Cup winner on the front page.
They have gone strong on his return, with the text to the left of Zidane's grimace reading: 'Zidane almighty'.

The same media will start saying negative things about Zidane in short time. You praised Solari in the first place after short time, you media later plan his downfall. keep brain washing readers

lets not forget that zidane struggled in his last season at Madrid but had Ronaldo who literally won him the champions league.this time around without Ronaldo I don't see zidane doing anything special at Madrid.

I am just glad it is over for Solari ... one of the greatest coaching disasters in the last few years , almost as bad as mouthino at United .. Zidane takes over now not to change things now but to plan for the next season ... and on HIS TERMS ! ... let's see what he does now that he controls the team fully ...

I think he has been fortunate to win one of the CL but much of the credit for other 2 should go to him. Best player during his era, manages to keep down the egos of ultras like Ramos, Marcelo !

ZZ was fortunate to win 3 CL cups and bailed at just the right time. Nothing has improved and if anything, Madrid have gone backwards. Unless they are throwing a few hundred million at the team in the summer, he¿s stuck with ageing squad. A very risky move for ZZ, particularly as his stock was so high.
