Liverpool, the standout club of the current transfer window, having already secured the signings of Wirtz, Ekitiké, Frimpong, and Kerkez, could now be setting their sights on Paris Saint-Germain.
According to L’Équipe, the Reds have expressed interest in PSG winger Bradley Barcola, who led Ligue 1 in assists in 2025 and is reportedly a priority target for the English club’s board as they continue to strengthen their already formidable attack.
Alongside their ongoing pursuit of Alexander Isak, which has stalled due to tough negotiations with Newcastle, and tentative links to Rodrygo, Liverpool see Barcola as an explosive and technically gifted forward with immense potential—an ideal addition to Arne Slot’s dynamic offensive unit. However, any potential deal faces serious challenges. PSG are known as one of the toughest clubs to negotiate with, and manager Luis Enrique is reluctant to part with one of his most valuable assets.
Despite being one of Enrique’s most-used players last season, Barcola’s role at PSG has diminished. The January arrival of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia for €70 million and the breakout of youngster Désiré Doué, MVP of the Champions League final, have pushed the French international down the pecking order. As a result, Barcola has entered a period of reflection, which led to a weeks-long pause in contract renewal talks.
Liverpool’s strong and long-standing interest in Barcola coincides with these uncertainties. Fully aware of his talent and ceiling, the Reds have been monitoring the winger for several months. Still, PSG have no intention of letting him go easily. According to L’Équipe, they are unwilling to consider any offer below €100 million, and won’t even open negotiations without a formal bid surpassing that threshold—a figure Liverpool could potentially meet, having recently offered €120 million for Isak.
Meanwhile, PSG have reopened discussions with Jorge Mendes, Barcola’s agent, in an effort to persuade the player to extend his stay in Paris. While Mendes is always attentive to market movements and wouldn’t oppose a move for his client, he is fully aware of the obstacles PSG typically raises when it comes to offloading key squad members.
Although no formal bid has yet been made, a Liverpool move for Barcola in the coming hours cannot be ruled out.

Liverpool don't need Barcola when there is Ngomoha who is better, better go for a good Stricker or get Rodrigo

But exactly what's wrong with Liverpool about those players they are building for especially since they are mentioning Barcola why can’t they buy Rodrigo instead and stop the transfer window
Rodrygo is a difficult deal to negotiate

Rodrigo prefer staying and fight for his space according to some reports. But Liverpool needs to persuade him to come.

Barcola? Not for me. I mean, the guy makes good runs, and the end result zero, compare him to Traore of Fulham. Doue would be better
You're damn right

They're not gonna sell Doue mate. That's not gonna happen. He's their most prized asset and they don't need to sell coz they have money-spinning machine that gives endlessly.
