Madrid mayor Jose Luis Martinez-Almeida, a self-confessed Atletico Madrid supporter, made a comment to Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos as he congratulated Los Blancos on winning their 34th LaLiga Santander title.
Martinez-Almeida recognised the merits of Zinedine Zidane's side, as he highlighted the Frenchman, Thibaut Courtois, Benzema and Ramos.
Regarding the latter, he made a joke about the centre-back's 93rd minute equaliser in the 2014 Champions League against Atletico.
"I would erase those 10 seconds from your career," Martinez-Almeida said while laughing, before going on to praise Ramos' great career in football.
