Magath: Only Bayern can be league winner; Muller could help Germany in Euro 2020

Felix Magath spoke in the AZ interview about the reborn Bayern star and competitions of Bundesliga champion.

Do you trust that M'gladbachen will get huge triumph in Bundesliga?

"The season has started very well for Gladbach, the performances were consistently impressive. Now we must see if Gladbach can keep the level after this great start - and if coach Marco Rose can develop the team even further. However, normally only a team can become Bundesliga champions.

"If Bayern doesn't make too big mistakes and plays in normal form, the championship will go back to Munich again. 

"Although Gladbach is currently up and Leipzig is constantly evolving, I don't think that their quality is enough to take the title away from Bayern."

Müller was honored with the Bavarian Order of Merit. Prime Minister Söder now even wants a Müller comeback at European Championship next summer. Would that make sense?

"Müller - like Mats Hummels - has been an important part of the national team for years. I am sure that Müller could use his skills and experience to help his national team and bring them positive effect."
