What Marcelo brings to the attack which we clearly saw today Mendy is still learning to do so. Marcelo isn't the best defender yes but how can you heap all the criticism on him when the defenders in general weren't good? Varane literally scored an own goal, Ramos gave away a penalty, and of course you can't criticise Vazquez cos he isn't a natural RB. Our defense looks like crap cos for the past few weeks Varane is on a poor run of form plus Carvajal still remains injured which who is a great defender. Indeed Marcelo needs to start performing better defensively but so does every other defender on the team.[Sadtolook]Real Madrid wins as a team so why must they lose because of one individual's slip ups?
