Fans were left in hysterics after a 'Poundland' Jack Grealish lookalike was caught on camera during a pitch invasion to celebrate Man City's title victory.

City fans took to the pitch following their 1-0 win over Chelsea, having clinched the Premier League title on Saturday following Arsenal's defeat by the same scoreline to Nottingham Forest.

Police and stewards reacted quickly to escort the players to the tunnel to protect them from the crowd.

As the Sky Sports cameras then scanned the pitch to take a look at the Man City players soaking up the club's title triumph, there was one person in particular who caught the attention of supporters.

The fan sported a similar hairstyle and hairband to Grealish, and the striking resemblance nearly even caught out host Dave Jones.

As it cut to the supporter, Jones could be heard saying: 'I thought that was Grealish then for a second.'

Viewers were left in heaps of laughter as they took to Twitter to comment on the similarity.

One fan called him a 'Poundland' lookalike of the England international, while another supporter asked 'Anyone see that BTEC Jack Grealish?'

'When you order Jack Grealish from Wish,' remarked another football fan on Twitter.

After Sky Sports posted a picture of the fan with the caption 'Gack Jrealish,' another supporter wrote: 'I was waiting for this tweet. The camera stayed on him for a solid minute, I was convinced they thought that this was Jack.'

Another person remarked: 'That's Jack nearlyish,' while one fan described him as a 'low budget' version of the City winger.

There were several Twitter users who were left unimpressed with his version of Grealish's famous hairstyle with one fan writing: 'Lifetime ban for the state of that lid.'

While one supporter described the haircut as 'criminal' and that 'he needs to sue his barber right now.'

Despite his resemblance to the Man City star, he took no part in the celebrations as Man City lifted the Premier League trophy for the third year in succession.

Though Grealish was left on the bench as he was rested against Chelsea, he has improved significantly this season after a difficult first campaign at Man City.

He has registered five goals and 11 assists in 48 appearances during the 2022/23 season.

Grealish could yet claim two more trophies as Man City head into finals of both the FA Cup and Champions League against Manchester United and Inter Milan respectively.
