Manchester United are considering alternatives to Harry Maguire as Leicester demand £65m for England's World Cup star.
Jose Mourinho may switch his sights to Barcelona defender Yerry Mina, who scored twice for Colombia in Russia, including against Maguire in the last-16.
Everton have been strongly linked with the 23-year-old who has struggled to settle at the Nou Camp since joining in January.
Mina featured only six times for Barcelona but showcased his talent during the World Cup as Colombia progressed past the group stage.
He scored in a 3-0 win over Poland before a last-gasp equaliser in the penalty shootout defeat by England earlier this month.
United have made an approach for England defender Maguire but Leicester do not have to sell and have no desire to let Maguire follow Riyad Mahrez out of the club this summer.
Maguire remains confident that he will move to Old Trafford but time is against United to complete the deal before the transfer window closes ahead of their Premier League opener — against Leicester on August 10.

Maguire was one of our best players last season. He's young and he's got a good 3-4 years left on his contract. He had a wonderful world cup and we can ask for a realistic fee with the market up in the air. Pay the money or don't simple as that

Different coach had different approach. Mou wants 4 signings last season but he only got 3, namely lindelof, matic and lukaku. Sanchez came at the bad time which is in mid season where he had not much time to adapt. Fred, Dalot and Grant this season but every season we still mis right winger. We wanted Bale and Willian but Woodward is not doing anything to support Mou request. Mou knows what kind of team he wants to build but if he didnt receive the support he wants, how do u expect him to prosper

For 3 years running Jose has not been able to build one strong section (defence, midfield or attack) for united after spending over £300 million and you are blaming woodward. What was the rational in buying Sanchez and Ledlof and also extending Felani contract when you have more prospect in Martial, Bailly and Herrera. The cash spent should have been prioritize For a right winger instead. Zidane did not break bank in Madrid to achived all his success. He simply show faith in his players and build a strong team therein..

You have a very good point ☝️ but let's consider this also mourinho as a coach as lost it and he's not the type like sir Alex, Pep etc some coaches I know can play with what we have and still lift a trophy or a treble sir Alex played a seven defenders in a match so time back. Players are managed that's why they're called managers you need to manage the player to be happy even if he's on the bench he'll be happy too much nonsense tactics here and there by force things are just imposed on the players etc ma guy Jose is not the kind of manager for united
