Man United confirm Varane injury blow
Raphael Varane would pick up an injury with France in the Nations League final over the weekend:
Following the game, an injury expert suggested that Varane could be out for between one week to three weeks.
And now, Man United have released an official statement in which they have confirmed that Varane will be out for a few weeks:
“Raphael Varane sustained a groin muscle injury in the UEFA Nations League final and has commenced rehabilitation at the club. He will be out for a few weeks.”
This is of course a huge blow for Man United, who have also been without the services of captain Harry Maguire over the last several weeks due to injury.
Varane’s injury probably could have not come at a worse time, either, with Man United set for a tough run of games against the likes of Leicester, Atalanta, Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester City.
Man United fans react to Varane injury news
