Former Manchester United winger Antony was spotted taunting Sevilla fans from the stands during Real Betis's derby victory in southern Spain.
The Brazilian was forced to sit out of the clash at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium after being sent off a week earlier for a dangerously high boot against Girona.
Antony was however at the ground on Sunday to support his team-mates, who romped to a 2-0 win against their bitter rivals thanks to goals from former West Ham United midfielder Pablo Fornals and Sergi Altimira.
Footage taken from the stands appeared to show the former Ajax man enraging the home fans by celebrating one of the visitors' goals passionately from his box.
The 25-year-old is seen shouting and waving his arms in the air in front of Sevilla supporters, who retaliated by hurling bottles and other items his way.
The Sevilla derby is indeed one of the fiercest rivalries in LaLiga, and towards the end of the clash tensions boiled over both on and off the pitch.

With around eight minutes to go, home winger Isaac Romero was given his marching orders for an incredibly reckless challenge on Betis's Valentin Gomez in a moment which incited further unrest in the stands.
With bottles and objects being hurled onto the pitch, referee Jose Luis Mubuera Montero was given little choice but to put a halt to proceedings and suspend the game.
The players were off the pitch for some 15 minutes before reemerging to play out the final minutes of Betis's 2-0 win.
It was a crucial victory for Manuel Pellegrini's side which took them up to fifth in LaLiga, particularly because they were without Antony, who's turned his career around in Spain.
The fiery South American endured a dire three years at Old Trafford, scoring just 12 goals and five assists in some 96 appearances. 'What happened in Manchester, only I know how difficult it was,' he said after securing a permanent move to Betis in the summer.
He's scored 15 and provided eight in his 39 appearances for the club thus far, but has let his emotions get the better of him recently.
Having been dismissed in the league last weekend, Antony almost picked up a red card for the second consecutive match in the Europa League on Thursday.
During the Spanish side's clash with Utrecht, the left-footer was lucky to escape a straight red after appearing to headbutt an opponent.
The incident was reviewed by VAR, but his act was cleared by the officiating team.
Betis eventually went on to win the game, with a teary Antony expressing his disappointment at being suspended for yesterday's derby post-match.
'For me it's a very sad moment because I'm coming off a sending-off where there was no intention of anything, but well, this week was very tough,' he said.
'There was no intention of anything (in the sending off against Girona), but well, this week was very tough,' Antony said.
'I know there are many games ahead, but I know the importance of this one and I'm leaving a little sad and angry because I wanted to be there on Sunday, but I'll be with my teammates.
'For me, it's the most important game of the year, and not being able to play it is very tough. It's going to be very difficult. It's been a very hard week."
'This expulsion has affected me because of the importance of the next match. I already imagined playing the derby away from home, but I'm going to be with them, giving them energy to get the three points.'
