Match Report
Mullin was involved in a nasty clash with United goalkeeper Nathan Bishop inside the opening 10 minutes and after a prolonged period of treatment was forced off while wearing an oxygen mask.
There was plenty of concern for Mullin, but Wrexham responded well to the setback and took the lead just before the half hour mark through Elliot Lee.
They doubled their advantage shortly before half-time thanks to a close range header from defender Aaron Hayden after a long throw, but Marc Jurado gave United hope by pulling a goal back on the stroke of half-time.
Any chance of United getting back into the game was quickly extinguished just two minutes into the second half, though, when captain Dan Gore was shown a red card for a studs-up challenge.
Wrexham made the most of their one-man advantage, as substitute Sam Dalby wrapped up the victory with a simple finish, with co-owner Rob McElhenney watching on proudly from the stands.

I understand what Eric Ten Hag is trying to do.. he only use under 21 players except Evans.. ETH was only trying to rotate the squad. this is pre-season and alot of young Players need to prove that they can play beautiful football. even if Manchester lost but it's a good idea from ETH to use under 21 players.
