Manchester United's Lisandro Martinez launched an extraordinary attack on the club’s hierarchy after their 2-0 Champions League loss at Atletico Madrid.
In an astonishing post-match interview, the Argentina international criticised the lack of summer investment in the squad.
The defender said he had expected more from "upstairs", in particular technical director Jason Wilcox, in the most recent transfer window.
"I have to control myself a lot, but sometimes it's a reflection of how our club is at the moment," Martinez told Amazon Prime.
"We had a fantastic season last season and now we expect more from the top, from upstairs, to bring in more players to compete because many teams have brought in many players as well."
Asked whether he had expected more investment in the squad in summer, Martinez said: "Yes, 100 per cent.
"I expect more from our technical director. I have to be honest. And also, as a player, we have to do more."

Lisandro Martinez is 100% right for calling out the board. they know nothing about how to run a football club less talk of a football team. imagine how long they've kept useless and prone to injury players for over past seasons. Mount, Luke Shaw, Deligt, Maguire, Mazroui Sesko, Ugarte and that guy from Netherlands I have forgotten his name for he barely play. all these players where suppose to be sold out raise funds and recruit other quality players to compete in all competition.

how can you spend an ordinary 150m on three players the whole window, as if you're playing league one, bcz that money is only meant for one player.

the problem isn't with neither the Coach nor the players but the owners up there.
