Man Utd interview 'two other managers' after Ten Hag with Luis Enrique linked

MANCHESTER UNITED have interviewed two other managerial candidates as well as Erik ten Hag, according to reports.

Ajax boss Ten Hag spoke to Man Utd chiefs a week ago and impressed with his vision for the club.

But after impressing with his vision for Man Utd, the Dutchman was allegedly amazed when United didn't open contract talks.

And according to the Express, United have interviewed two other candidates who could potentially take over from interim boss Ralf Rangnick.

Although the identities of those interviewed are currently unknown, Paris Saint-Germain boss Mauricio Pochettino is already believed to have held talks with football director John Murtough.

Pochettino could be available at the end of the season after his side miserably limped out of the Champions League in the Round of 16.

The Mail are also reporting that Spain manager Luis Enrique has admirers at Old Trafford.

The two-time LaLiga and Champions League winner has been viewed as an outsider to the likes of Ten Hag and Pochettino.

Sevilla manager Julen Lopetegui is also believed to be under consideration.

Lopetegui's side are enjoying a good domestic campaign, sitting second in LaLiga.

But the six-time Europa League winners were beaten by West Ham 2-1 on aggregate to end their chances of another European title.

One of the first signings the new manager could make is Tottenham's Harry Kane.

The Athletic claims United chiefs are eager to add a centre-forward to their squad amid doubts over Cristiano Ronaldo's future.

Edinson Cavani is set to leave when his deal expires, while Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford's Old Trafford prospects remain unclear.

And England captain Kane has emerged as United's top choice to lead the line next season.
