Manchester United star Marcus Rashford has reacted following reports over his future during the summer transfer window
Manchester United face a busy summer as the transfer window heats up. Michael Carrick’s side need new recruits as they prepare to return to the Champions League next season.
The club confirmed the departures of Casemiro, Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia as part of their retained list on Wednesday. United have already looked to address the void left by Casemiro after striking a deal for midfielder Ederson.
Marcus Rashford, meanwhile, faces an uncertain future at United following his loan spell at Barcelona. The 28-year-old, who is part of England’s World Cup squad, enjoyed his time with the Catalan club and expressed his desire to remain at the Camp Nou.
The La Liga champions have an option to sign the United star permanently for £26million. However, Barcelona have reportedly decided against the move after agreeing to sign Rashford’s England team-mate Anthony Gordon from Newcastle United.

In terms of potential incomings, Carrick’s side have been linked with goalkeeper Karl Darlow, who is in talks over a new deal at Leeds United. Mirror Football rounds up some of the biggest stories surrounding Old Trafford.
Marcus Rashford acts after transfer blow
Rashford has removed any mention of Barcelona from his Instagram bio following reports that the club will not trigger their £26m buy option. He registered 14 goals and assists apiece in 49 games for Hansi Flick’s side last term.
Spanish outlet Marca reports that Rashford will not be a Barcelona player next season after the club decided against the deal. It is added that the choice to target Gordon was proof that Barcelona’s interest in signing Rashford had declined, given that the pair both on the left flank.
Barcelona’s decision to favour Gordon over Rashford was reportedly influenced by the former Newcastle United star being three-and-a-half years younger, as well as impressing Flick with his ability to carry out defensive work. Rashford is set to return to United after the World Cup unless a transfer with another interested club can be agreed.
Target in contract talks
Leeds have confirmed the club are in talks over Karl Darlow’s future. The 35-year-old goalkeeper is nearing the end of his contract and has attracted interest from Old Trafford.
The Wales international has spent three years with the Yorkshire club and established himself as first-choice in the second half of the last campaign, making 22 appearances. However, Daniel Farke’s side are reportedly in the market for a new shot-stopper.
Darlow has been linked with United and several other Premier League clubs ahead of possibly becoming a free agent. United view the experienced goalkeeper as back-up to Senne Lammens, with Altay Bayindir and Andre Onana being made available for moves away.

United should hope Rashford has a good World Cup! He had a good loan spell at BFC, although as at United his tracking back was negligible but he is worth €26mil, A good World Cup will increase his value and a bonus as he's not wanted at Old Trafford.
you keep saying increase his value bla bla bla ,so why not take him back if he is so good but some how you want Barca to carry that burden lol

Rashford shouldn't return to United, his attitude is really not good for a team that's fighting for glory

The problem here is not the transfer fee, the main problem is his wage, no team will accept to pay such a player 300k a week, he can only get a transfer if he reduce his weekly wages
same problem United new share Holder's has he wages..... I guess because his a black... United will pay the price
