Roberto Mancini has made history, as for the first time ever, Italy have qualified for a major tournament with a 100% record.
The Azzurri qualified for Euro 2020 with a perfect record, 10 wins from 10 games, concluding in Palermo this evening against Armenia.
This has never previously been accomplished by any Italian national team.
They have qualified for major tournaments in the past whilst undefeated, but never claimed that elusive 100% record statistic, until now.
Mancini's Italy have shattered several records recently. They won more games in a calendar year (10) and won more consecutive games (11) than any version of the Nazionale in history.
