Getafe is considering signing free agent Sancho, according to Marca. He is one of the potential signings being evaluated by club president Ángel Torres, while coach Bordalás is also prioritizing strengthening the wing attack. However, Sancho's salary demands and LaLiga's financial fair play regulations are the main obstacles facing this deal.

Reports indicate that Getafe is exploring the possibility of signing Sancho. The winger became a free agent after leaving Manchester United and has now entered the list of transfer candidates for Getafe president Ángel Torres.

Despite the significant financial challenges of the deal, Sancho fits Bordalás' primary transfer requirement: signing an attacking player who can operate on the wing.

Sancho's name is already on Torres' desk, and the Getafe president hopes to draw on the successful experience of Greenwood's move to the club. Greenwood joined Getafe after experiencing difficulties in his personal and professional life, eventually becoming one of the standout players for the team and in LaLiga.

Torres believes that Sancho could also find his place at Getafe and regain his form on the pitch. He hopes to use this as leverage to persuade Sancho to join.

However, Sancho is currently only an option Getafe is considering, and the two sides have not yet entered negotiations to finalize a deal.

Economic factors are currently the biggest hurdle. Getafe is already approaching the spending limit allowed by LaLiga's financial fair play regulations.

Sancho's free agent status means Getafe could sign him without paying a transfer fee, but his salary demands make it difficult for the deal to comply with the club's current financial situation.

Therefore, Getafe must find a creative solution similar to the one used when signing Dani Carvajal to make this deal feasible.

Getafe's interest in Sancho stems from the squad deficiencies Bordalás previously highlighted publicly. A few weeks ago, the coach stated: "We are the only club in LaLiga without wingers in our squad."

Therefore, strengthening the wings has become Bordalás' top priority. For this reason, he prefers the club to invest its transfer resources in Sancho rather than signing Dani Parejo. After Carvajal joined Getafe, Parejo's name also began to appear frequently in the club's transfer discussions.

From an economic perspective, signing Parejo would be easier to achieve than signing Sancho, but the coaching staff's priority remains addressing the lack of wing players. Currently, Getafe has clarified its sporting transfer priorities, but whether a deal for Sancho is economically feasible remains to be seen.

Greenwood's previous success at Getafe makes Torres willing to seriously consider the possibility of signing Sancho. However, LaLiga's financial fair play regulations will remain a key factor in determining whether this deal can progress.
