Marca expert says Granada centre-back didn't deserve second yellow card

Juan Andujar Oliver doesn't think German Sanchez deserved a second yellow card for his foul on Lionel Messi.

The Granada centre-back was sent off at the Camp Nou on Sunday night after picking up his second booking of the match for a trip.

"It's a foul on Messi, nothing more. It's not abrupt play," Andujar Oliver, MARCA's resident referee expert, told Radio MARCA.

"These types of sanctions don't go to VAR."
