Marcos Llorente has had a year to forget from a personal perspective.

The Spanish midfielder went from being named the best player in the final of the 2018 Club World Cup final with Real Madrid to being a permanent fixture on the Atletico Madrid bench.
"Both in life and in football, things can change overnight," said Llorente after lifting the trophy with Los Blancos in the United Arab Emirates.
Things have indeed changed for Llorente, but not for the better.
With little game time at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, Llorente opted to move to Real Madrid's city rivals in hope of more regular first team football, yet that has not been the case.
He was sent off in his first game in pre-season against Chivas and things haven't really looked up since then.
Even when others in his position have been unavailable, he doesn't play.
Llorente has managed just 318 minutes across 12 matches and many of those have come in the closing stages of games.
The midfielder will be hoping that 2020 can bring a similarly drastic change in fortunes but, this time, for the better.

When Llorente was leaving I said he was making a terrible mistake. He had some play time in Real and the fans loves him just the coaches refused to use more midfielders with CDM role than Casemiro now Zidane has learnt that with Valverde. Llorente shave been having more playtime now in 442 lineups but where is he? Very soon they will say Real Madrid caused his downfall meanwhile he was not patient to grow.
