Martin Braithwaite has picked up an injury in his left quadriceps rectus anterior ahead of Barcelona's LaLiga Santander opener against Villarreal on September 27.
The Danish striker didn't participate in the Blaugrana's 1-0 victory over Elche in the Joan Gamper Trophy on Saturday.
"First team player Martin Braithwaite has a left quadriceps anterior rectus injury and the evolution of the problem will condition his availability," read the club's oficial statement.
"The tests carried out this Sunday have shown up the injury, which occurred in post-match training on Saturday."
