Martin Odegaard will become Real Sociedad's fifth signing of the summer when he completes his loan move from Real Madrid.
La Real have already brought in Modibo Sagnan, Alex Remiro, Cristian Portu and Alexander Isak during the current transfer window.
Odegaard will join the club on a two-year loan whilst also extending his contract at Real Madrid from 2021 to 2023.
The Norwegian international visited Anoeta and Real Sociedad's Zubieta training ground last week and decided to move there over Bayer Leverkusen, who also made an offer to take him on loan.
An agreement is yet to be reached between the two clubs as Los Blancos look to finalise the terms of his new contract.

How has he been doing? I’m assuming decent since these are good clubs, but still curious. Seems like him and halilovic were supposed to be the next big things and the latter has fallen off
