Mastantuono: Surpassing Messi as youngest hat-trick scorer in Europe's top 5 leagues is incredible

"I became the youngest player to score a hat-trick in Europe's top five leagues, surpassing Messi. To be mentioned alongside Messi is incredible for me, and sharing a record with him is the best thing that could happen," Franco Mastantuono said on the exclusive DAZN program "MySkills."

Speaking about Fiorentina, he added: "Batistuta is a great person. I had the chance to talk to him, and he spoke very highly of Fiorentina."

Regarding Serie A and Fiorentina, the former River Plate and Real Madrid player said: "I like it here very much. It's a very competitive league, and all the teams are strong. We still need to improve, but with hard training, I believe it will be a positive season for us in the end."

Speaking about the free kick he scored against Boca Juniors, he concluded: "I had waited a long time for the Boca Juniors vs. River Plate match, and for me, it was a bit of a response to what people were saying outside. That free kick changed my life. It was a gift from football."
