Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino posed for pictures with baseball, ice hockey and retired NBA stars on Monday as his side trained in Los Angeles.
Pochettino handed Andrelton Simmons of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Paul LaDue of the Los Angeles Kings, Michael Amadio, Steve Nash and Darryl Evans autographed jerseys and smiled for the camera with them.
Tottenham are on a pre-season tour of America and are training in Los Angeles ahead of their opening International Champions Cup match against Roma on Wednesday.
After taking time out to meet with the American sport stars, Pochettino put his players through their paces in a bid to whip them into shape for Thursday's clash.
There was an added focus on fitness with the players first running laps of the pitch before attentions were turned to ball-related drills.
Christian Eriksen and Son Heung-Min were on show but Pochettino is still without the bulk of his squad due to World Cup involvement.
England contingent Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Eric Dier, Kieran Trippier and Danny Rose remain on holiday, as do Hugo Lloris, Jan Vertonghen, Mousa Dembele and Toby Alderweireld.
Although Pochettino has wrapped up new long-term deals to keep Erik Lamela and Son at the club, there is growing concern amongst the supporters that they could get left behind next season if they do not add to their squad soon.
Spurs left for their pre-season tour last week without adding any fresh faces to their squad, though are still pushing to do business back in London.
Vincent Janssen was left out of their 25-man squad for their US tour and Tottenham are looking to sell the striker to help fund a move for Aston Villa's Jack Grealish.

Why's nobody talking about this? Suprs went to a consistent human rights violating country for the past two to three decades.

Tottenham is closer to winning titles than ever.If they can just ensure than the team is intact and Pochentino manage them well this season like before and even better, they will deliver. They are used to each other and they have been noting the reasons for their failures year in year out.All they need now is focus and play with no inferiority complex. This may be their season of bountiful blessings.

I used to be amused when some "penny a line" hack wrote things like: " there is growing concern amongst the supporters that they could get left behind next season if they do not add to their squad soon." Where do you get this tripe? It is getting boring and annoying. Are there no real sports writers out there anymore.
Go and find them then. In other words, fuck off smartass.

Not sure how you could criticise Ham for that drive. It was amazing.
