In the third round of the FIFA World Cup group stage, France faced Norway, with French star Mbappé starting.

Statistics show that this is Mbappé's 15th FIFA World Cup start. At 27 years and 188 days old, the French star broke the record of Argentine legend Mario Kempes (27 years and 343 days) to become the youngest player to start 15 FIFA World Cup matches.

Mbappé has scored in three consecutive FIFA World Cup matches and is on track to become the second player after Hungary's Sándor Kocsis to score 2+ goals in four consecutive FIFA World Cup matches.
