On October 1, Mbappé posted photos of his 2026 World Cup Golden Boot and Bronze Ball awards on social media.
At the 2026 World Cup, Mbappé made 8 appearances for the French national team, starting in all of them. He scored 10 goals and provided 4 assists, helping France finish in fourth place.
With 10 goals, Mbappé won the 2026 World Cup Golden Boot award and also received the Bronze Ball award. However, he did not collect these two awards at the stadium following the World Cup final.
Mbappé has now shared photos of both the World Cup Golden Boot and Bronze Ball trophies on social media.

He always turns up for the big games. He deserves the Ballon’dor for 25/26 season. Olisse ,Yamal and Raphina are his big rivals to date for 26/27 award.
That’s not the World Cup btw, you don’t know the criteria for winning the ballond’or 🥱

this golden boot was stolen from messi...if i was him i would have never played in a third place match where the tournament was finished that is clearly unfair for the players in the final...see what happened in that so called 3rd placed match England didn't even bother to defend mbappe where as he scored easily n snatched away the golden boot.if you are true to your character go n give that boot to messi n earn it faithfully in the next world cup. n that is as for Rodri too he should do the same.
