Los Blancos know that negotiating with PSG for their superstar will be difficult, but Kylian Mbappé's desire to work under Zidane could unlock the door.
Kylian Mbappé wants to play for Zinedine Zidane. The young star's desire to play at Real Madrid, however, does not mean it will come to pass, with Paris Saint-Germain determined not to let him go.
Mbappé's PSG obstacle to Madrid
Florentino Pérez checked out the situation the day before yesterday as he visited the French capital for the 69th FIFA Congress. Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the PSG president, was expected to attend but managed to avoid a photo that would have no doubt fuelled the speculation. The Emir of Qatar, the true owner and lord of the PSG manor, had planned to be at Roland Garros for the French Open, but he too chose to stay in Doha. Both knew that Mbappé has decided he wants to leave, but they do not want to open the door for him.
The Emir is tired of the Neymar controversies, the pressure of Financial Fair Play and the Champions League disappointments. The idea of their star leaving, which very recently seemed impossible, could now be taking shape.
In the current scenario, the possibility of the 20-year old ending up in Madrid appears to be more likely than even just a month ago. But even so, it would still be a risky operation to undertake. Florentino has made a point of not angering PSG. He would prefer instead that Mbappé makes the appropriate moves to progress the transfer.
And that is exactly what the player has done, making it clear to Zidane about his dream move to Real Madrid. Now he has to send that same clear message to his coach, Thomas Tuchel. To date the French player has shown his intentions, but now must do so much more forcefully.

[Crylaugh][Crylaugh][Crylaugh][Crylaugh] right....... Madrid was stupid by letting CR7 go, for real. Sell him for 100m and spend close to 400m trying to replace him, whereas.had they sold Bale, they'd have made 80m+, still had Ronaldo. And if they still had CR7, all the players they bought would've cost 30% less as they wouldn't necessarily need them and their weight of the Real Madrid and CR7 brand together would've made deals WAY EASIER to negotiate.

CR7 has gone for good. Let him be. Madrid won Champions league/ European cup 9X bf Ronaldo, Madrid won 4X with CR7, we are grateful to God for this. Madrid will win after Ronaldo. Ronaldo was with us 2009 to 2013 we didn't win UCL, since 2015 Barcelona have not won UCL and Messi, Suarez and Neymar were there. If Messi had left in 2016 , their failure to win would have been attributed to Messi's absence, which is far from truth from the reality on ground. Ronaldo went to Juventus and dropped at the quarter final stage. They didn't win UCL, didn't win Italian cup. This is to tell us a single player cannot be responsible for the victory of a team no matter how good that player is. Ronaldo has not been able to win the world cup bc of the quality of other members of the team. So let's stop gloating over Ronaldo leaving Madrid . It's of no consequence if you have quality players and a good coach. There is no Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar Suarez and who else in Liverpool and they reached the final twice and won once while Atletico Madrid got to finals twice. Only lazy people rely on a single player and they fail as a result. Barcelona a good example, Juventus is following in their footsteps relying only on Ronaldo wont help. Team work is needed, ask Tottenham, ask Ajax they are examples of good team work and good coach. Enough of Madrid losing Ronaldo, let's get serious again.
