Kylian Mbappe has now plundered 400 goals across his career for club and country.
The 26-year-old brought up the milestone with a brace during France's 4-0 win against Ukraine in World Cup qualifying, which saw Les Bleus book their spot at next summer's tournament.
And Mbappe will no doubt be looking to increase his goal tally in a competition he loves, having already found the back of the net 12 times in 14 World Cup appearances.
He is also just one of two players to score a hat-trick in a World Cup final (also Geoff Hurst in 1966), while he has only scored more international goals against the Netherlands (six) than he has against reigning world champions Argentina (five), who beat his France team on spot-kicks after a 3-3 draw in the 2022 showpiece.
Overall, 55 of Mbappe's 400 career goals have come for France, with only Olivier Giroud scoring for the national team more often (57).
Mbappe will be unable to break Giroud's record in France's final qualifying match against Azerbaijan after withdrawing from their training camp with an ankle injury, but he will fancy his chances of doing so in the March international break.
The majority of his goals came for Paris Saint-Germain, where he scored 256 times in just 308 games, while he also netted 27 times for Monaco.
Mbappe's start to life at Real Madrid has been just as impressive, scoring 62 goals in 74 games with a goal per minute ratio of 97.6 in the Spanish capital.
Overall, 47.75% of his goals have come in Ligue 1 (191/400), while the only club competition he has failed to score in when making at least one appearance is the Europa League (only one game played).
Mbappe has also scored 60 goals in 91 Champions League outings, leaving him sixth in the competition's all-time scoring charts.
At club level, the forward has a conversion rate of 21.6%, with 266 goals coming with his right foot, 68 with his left and 10 with his head.
After he reached the 400-goal mark against Ukraine, Mbappe revealed, that like Cristiano Ronaldo, he is targeting 1,000 goals in his career.
And at the rate at which he is currently scoring, you would not put it past him.

Pretty incredible numbers, 400 goals at 26. I’m not the biggest fan of his, but that’s an undeniable achievement

Reminds me of CR7…he just might be 2nd to another left-footed player for the entirety of his remaining career too.
2nd in his generation, way way more down in the entirety of football.
