Gabriel Mercado was one of Sevilla's most consistent performers in the 2017/18 campaign, and the Argentine defender has been included in the matchday squad to face Barcelona after missing more than a month through injury.
Mercado suffered an ulna fracture and hasn't been able to take part in much of the Andalusian club's campaign, in which they have risen to the summit of LaLiga Santander.
Joris Gnagnon will be absent for the trip to Catalonia and the Argentine will take his place, although Sergio Escudero is still not yet ready to play.
The full squad selected to face Barcelona at the Camp Nou is as follows:
Goalkeepers: Tomas Vaclik, Juan Soriano
Defenders: Sergi Gomez, Simon Kjaer, Daniel Carrico Aleix Vidal, Gabriel Mercado, Guilherme Arana
Midfielders: Ever Banega, Jesus Navas, Pablo Sarabia, Franco Vazquez, Quincy Promes, Roque Mesa
Forwards: Luis Muriel, Andre Silva, Nolito, Wissam Ben Yedder
