Lionel Messi welcomed MARCA into his new Paris home as he received his eighth Pichichi, which he won last season as top scorer in LaLiga Santander.
In an exclusive interview, the Argentine opened up about everything. The full interview will be published on Tuesday in the newspaper and online, which you can of course read here on MARCA in English.
A calm and happy Messi opened his doors for MARCA, and he's delighted with how smoothly he has settled in Paris.
Focusing on the football side of things, Messi knows that there's a lot of pressure on Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League this season.
"Everyone says we're the big favourites," Messi told MARCA. "I won't deny that we're one of the candidates, but we still need some things to be a really strong team."
Messi's attention did, naturally, get turned back to his former club Barcelona, where former teammate Xavi Hernandez has taken over as coach.
"Barcelona will grow with Xavi," Messi said. "He's a coach who knows a lot and knows the club well."
For more on Xavi, PSG, and a lot more, keep an eye on MARCA in English on Tuesday for the full exclusive interview.

Am gonna support XAVI till last breath, if he can accept to take over this club at this difficult time with no MONEY for new signing and long list of INJURED players. What else can I give him than 100% support.

Meanwhile, 16 Years Ago Today, Ronaldinho Received A Standing Ovation At The Bernabeu For Masterclass Vs Real Madrid It remains one of the most talked about moments in football history. The day Ronaldinho brought the Santiago Bernabeu to its feet. On November 19, 2005, on a brisk Saturday night in Madrid, the Bernabeu rose to its feet as one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time, Iker Casillas, shrugged his shoulders, powerless to the genius of a Brazilian-born magician. Thousands of Real Madrid fans applauded Ronaldinho's marvelous efforts that evening - a rare glimpse of admiration from the often indignant Los Blancos support. Ronaldinho was truly unplayable that night. He ducked and weaved through players like never before. Ronaldinho was truly unplayable that night.
