Messi: Yamal reminds me of my younger self

At a recent Adidas event, Messi was asked which of the new generation of players reminded him of himself when he was young.

Messi replied: "There are many outstanding players in the new generation, and they have many years of their careers ahead of them. But if I had to choose one, in terms of age, achievements to date, and the height they may reach in the future, that person is Yamal. Without a doubt, for me he is the best."

Although Messi has praised Yamal many times in the past, this recognition of seeing his younger self in Yamal is undoubtedly the highest praise for Yamal.
