Argentina and Chile will have wanted to be playing in the Copa America final at the Estadio Maracana, but instead they're preparing for the third-place play-off in Sao Paulo.
Fans of both teams are unhappy with how the semi-finals panned out and will be wanting their sides to finish on a positive note.
This could be the final game of many of Chile's Copa America heroes from 2015 and 2016 with Arturo Vidal (32 years old), Gary Medel (31), Gonzalo Jara (33) and Jean Beausejour (35) all nearing international retirement in the near future.
As for Argentina, Lionel Scaloni won't be rotating and Lionel Messi will start in attack with only Lautaro Martinez and Marcos Acuna unavailable through suspension.

I cannot see a happy ending here for Messi and Argentina. If Argentina wins then people will ask why they couldn't beat Chile in the previous finals and drag Messi. If they lose then people will they couldn't even win a 3 place finish and proceeds to dragging Messi.
