The report that Messi sent message to Neymar to persuade him to return has been a piece of fake news, according to Mundo Deportivo.

France Football has reported that Messi had sent a message to Neymar and tried to persuade him to return as it said Messi had written: "We can win the Champions League only if we play together, I hope you can come back, I'm leaving in two years, and you'll be alone, you will take my place."

Munde Deportivo has interviewed the chief editor of the French outlet and he has denied it.

MD says that Leo did not write that message and the quotation in the France Football is a fake news.
