The Camp Nou hosted a special event on Thursday evening as Lionel Messi and his wife Antonela Rocuzzo attended a unique Cirque Du Soleil performance based on him.
He was joined by Luis Suarez, along with many of his teammates and friends on an exceptional occasion.
"I'm very excited," the forward said.
"To have a show with the Cirque Du Soleil is something extraordinary, unique; I'm very happy."
The show will debut in Barcelona on 10 October and will then go on tour around the world with a 90-minute spectacle.
It is the first time that Cirque du Soleil has entered the world of football, having dedicated previous shows to artists like Michael Jackson and The Beatles.
