Messi goes for his 700th appearance & 140th UCL games for Barca in Dortmund game

Barcelona's clash with Borussia Dortmund will be special for FC Barcelona captain Lionel Messi.

The Champions League match against Dortmund will be Messi's 700th game for Barcelona, with 140 of those coming in the Champions League.

If Messi beats Dortmund he will have triumphed against 78 sides - of the 87 he has faced, and beaten 154 goalkeepers.
