Barcelona were defeated by Real Madrid in El Clasico last weekend.
Los Blancos took the lead when Vinicius Jr struck the opener with 20 minutes remaining.
And Mariano came off the bench to condemn Barcelona to defeat when he scored Real Madrid's second in stoppage-time.
Barcelona were far from their best during the game and Quique Setien's assistant, Eder Sarabia, was not a happy man.
Sarabia was extremely animated on the touchline and he let out his frustration on the players, including Antoine Griezmann.
He erupted when the Frenchman missed a chance in the opening 45 minutes.
"F*cking hell, Antoine, stick it away! "Shoot, for f*ck's sake!" He commented, per Goal.
An unnamed player was also criticised: "He's not doing any of the things he's supposed to be doing!" Sarabia said.
And he also provided Setien with some tactical advice, saying: "Our defensive line shouldn't be so far back, because they find more space [between the lines] and Benzema drops in and picks it up, and then they put us on the back foot," Sarabia said. "We need to limit those spaces."
He's also seen screaming instructions at Lionel Messi at one point.
But his behaviour has not gone down well with Barca players.
According to Cope, they are said to be upset with Sarabia's touchline behaviour and believe 'he is not the appropriate person to lead the team from the bench'.
And one player that thinks that way is Messi.
According to ESPN journalist Moisés Llorens, Messi has had a 'hard chat' with Sarabia about his touchline behaviour and has told him exactly what he thinks.
Llorens adds that despite his intense behaviour, Sarabia had no problems with anyone before now.
It'll be interesting to see whether Sarabia tones down his passion on the sidelines in future matches.

if this news is true then the Barcelona players including "Goat" Messi must be stupid. if you don't listen to criticism and instructions in sport, how can you achieve any great thing. no wonder the champions league have eluded us all these years. players must obey and play to a coach or assistants instruction. I understand Eric Abidals case is diff but bloody hell listen to the gaffer

This guy sarabia is very passionate. But he must not act like a normal fan who abuses players. I really love watching him always sticking behind coach and giving opinions, like he's so into the game. He reminds me of Diego Simeone to a lesser extent.

For those who backs messi and co against this sarabia dude. Remember sarabia is the only man i saw on the pitch (technically outside the pitch) that actually look like he wanted barcelona to win. Instead of these barca players who looks like they play to fulfill the schedule without passion whatsoever. Sarabia’s words might be harsh, but he only wants the best for barcelona. And if u cant stand this kind of presurre from ur coach, that means u are weak and should consider baking instead of playing football where millions of fans supporting ur team and expecting the players to play with their heart to win the game.

i think sarabia is right for shouting at the players coz they wasnt doing what they supposed to be doing. barca players can be angry but if it was pep who normally would shout like that if things werent going as planned then the players wont hit out at him

Shouting and correcting the players sometimes is encouraging but when we yell too much, instead of encouraging them, we gave them double pressure(one from the same team, the other from the opponent)n they lose their confidence.. playing football without confidence is like a ship without a destination... Meanwhile, we need to be positive of the critics we got because it's for our self betterment

That's why they supported Valverde he never ask anybody to perform better never ask for intense training if you don't listen to your coaching staff then you have no need of a coach...Thats why Enrique left the team, he has self respect and didn't wanna be pawn in the hands of the players...

Again!! Barcelona players are too big to be talked to. I will enjoying watching the downfall of this club that isnt seeing an imminent calamity in a few years from now. Keep blaming everyone.!

Pride won't allow them take advice and criticism even from their own. Seems Messi is feeling too big to take instructions from the assistant coach who clearly has the backing of the coach to do whatever he is doing. As a coach, Setien knows that he can't shout on the touchline. That's why he hired a more youthful and passionate assistant to do that for him all so the team could get desired results. Now, Messi and his followers are angry with Sarabia for telling them the bitter truth. Guess they preferred the Sleeping Pill (Valverde) who usually doesn't even know if they are playing badly as he is comfortably fast asleep in the dugout.

As a united fan, this is the type of person I need in my team, you've got to be passionate, no player is bigger than his team, we all know what messi has done for Barcelona but regardless he's still a player and he must accept criticism and every other things that comes his way, Mourinho might be done tactically but this act is one of the reasons I still adore him, Barcelona don't really need many world class players again, they've tried it now but all to no avail. the likes of coutinho, dembele, Griezmann should send a message to Barcelona fans that wants all the best players on earth. Woodward has also brought some good players to united also but they didn't fit in , that means Dof has a great role to play, your new signing braith wait might turn out to be a beast, non pressurized players play better, because no one is expecting much from them.
