Former Barcelona winger Lobo Carrasco played alongside Diego Maradona during the Argentine's two-year stint at the Camp Nou, yet he has admitted that current Barcelona star Lionel Messi is better than the 1986 World Cup winner.
Both Maradona and Messi have been endlessly compared, but Carrasco believes that Messi's consistency means that he should be regarded higher than Maradona.
"Messi is pulling away from Maradona," Carrasco admitted on Rafa Sahuquillo 'El Iceberg' podcast on MARCA.
