Arsenal have spent big so far this summer, bringing in six new signings, and more incomings and outgoings are expected at the Emirates before the transfer window slams shut
Arsenal got off to a winning start as they beat Manchester United 1-0 in their Premier League opener on Sunday, with defender Riccardo Calafiori scoring the winner. New signings Viktor Gyokeres, Martin Zubimendi and Noni Madueke all made their debuts in that game.
The Gunners have spent more than £200million so far this summer, with Cristhian Mosquera, Christian Norgaard and Kepa Arrizabalaga also making the move to the Emirates. However, more incomings and outgoings are possible before the transfer window slams shut.
There are a number of fringe players at the club who could depart, with Nuno Tavares, Marquinhos, Jorginho, Kieran Tierney, Thomas Partey and Takehiro Tomiyasu having already left this summer.
Here, Mirror Football takes a look at all the latest transfer news and rumours from in and around the Emirates...
Arteta's next target
Mirror Football understands that Mikel Arteta still wants to sign a new left winger this summer, but must sell before he can buy.
Leandro Trossard is the player most likely to depart, with Aston Villa, Brentford and several other clubs across Europe interested in the winger. Although Arsenal spent big on Noni Madueke, Gabriel Martinelli started at Old Trafford and Arteta wants to bring in extra qualifty.
The Gunners were interested in Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze, but did not pursue a deal due to concerns he could block the pathway for young stars like Ethan Nwaneri and Max Dowman. Eze is now expected to join rivals Tottenham instead.
Rodrygo statement
Real Madrid star Rodrygo has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal, but new manager Xabi Alonso has insisted he is happy to keep the winger.
Rodrygo appeared to have fallen down the pecking order at the Bernabeu after making just one start under Alonso at the Club World Cup. However, when asked about the Brazilian's future ahead of Real Madrid's opener, Alonso said: "There are a lot of rumours this summer.
"He looks good to me. I'm counting on everyone, and I want them to be committed to the team and be at 100 percent. That's what worries me and what’s occupying me right now."
Kiwior interest
AC Milan and Porto are both interested in signing Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior, according to a report from the Standard.
Kiwior did not make the matchday squad for Arsenal's opener against Manchester United following the signing of Cristhian Mosquera from Valencia earlier this summer. The report states that Arsenal do not want to lose Kiwior, but they 'could be tempted into selling if an offer is too good to turn down'.

martineli has been a flop for the past two seasons and is loaded already to flop this season, evidently in our season's opener. When a player gets too comfortable, he needs to be sold but arteta is blindly loyal to Martineli and Havertz and it's causing us a big deal to land epl since arteta took charge.

so if Odegaard gets injured or dips in form....whom do we turn to?? Nwaneri? Dowman? why not just bring in Eze? he is versatile, plays 8, 10, LW....in tight games. With him in the team I wouldn't mind us not buying a Winger!! Eze to Spurs will haunt us...and it's gonna be a bitter pill to swallow!

Arsenal has William Saliba , Gabriel Magalhaes , Jurien Timber , Ben White , Ricardo Califiori , Cristian Mosquera ,Alexander Zinchenko , Miles Lewis - Skelly and Jakup Kiwior as defenders but want to sell Kiwior if a good offer comes but the central back stoop up for the team in the absence of Magalhaes last season in both the Epl and Champions League , is it fair ? or it is the players decision to look for game time else where
