Milan Champions League tickets more than double Inter prices

Milan fans are protesting after learning that tickets for their Champions League games at San Siro will cost more than double those of Inter matches in the same stadium.

The two giants share the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, commonly referred to as San Siro for the neighbourhood it is located in, and this season both clubs are back in the Champions League.

That has allowed supporters to compare and contrast ticket prices, finding massive disparities.

Inter open their European campaign against Real Madrid on September 15 and a ticket for the Curva section, the blue and green levels, are €48.

Milan’s opening home game is against Atletico Madrid on September 28 and tickets for the exact same section are priced at €119.

That is over twice as much to view a game in the same competition, same stadium and same seat.

Both clubs are pushing hard to be allowed to either revamp the existing structure of this arena or build an entirely new one, knocking down the historic Stadio Meazza.
