Milan confirm Hakan Calhanoglu & Theo Hernandez tested positive for COVID-19

AC Milan announce Hakan Çalhanoğlu and Theo Hernández have tested positive for COVID.

The pair didn’t train on Friday because of ‘inconclusive’ COVID tests, but the swab tests underwent on Saturday came back positive.

“AC Milan announce a molecular swab test carried out by Hakan Çalhanoğlu and Theo Hernández have came back positive. The rest of the group team has tested negative.

“The two players, asymptomatic, were immediately placed in quarantine at home. All other players and staff will continue to follow a strict monitoring according to the guidelines of current protocols.”

Milan face Cagliari on Monday at the Sardegna Arena.
