The Moana municipality council have decided to name the local football ground after the Celta Vigo striker Iago Aspas.
Born in Moana, Galicia, the Spain international continues to live there with his family and he travels daily to Vigo to train with his team.
In an attempt to pay tribute to their most famous citizen, the Campo de futbol O Casal, home of Club Deportivo Moana will be renamed to Campo Municipal Iago Aspas Juncal.
The unanimous decision will be approved from the new local government, following the local elections set to take place at the end of May.
