More selection problems for Real Madrid after a training session on Friday morning. Reports suggest that Rodrygo is suffering from a discomfort in his left leg and was unable to take part in the session, making him a doubt for Sunday’s game against Valencia.
Rodygo first felt the issue after a tough physical session put on by Madrid’s performance manager Antonio Pintus earlier this week. Having been eliminated from the Copa del Rey, Madrid had no midweek fixtures.
With a number of injuries to key players, Rodrygo had been expected to start against Valencia at Mestalla this weekend. Head coach Álvaro Arbeloa is already without Vinícius Júnior due to a one-match suspension for yellow card accumulation, while Jude Bellingham has been ruled out for a month with a thigh injury. Bellingham sustained the injury early in the victory over Rayo Vallecano last weekend.
Arbeloa also need to decide whether either Antonio Rüdiger or Dani Carvajal will ultimately be included in the squad. Madrid are expected to make a late decision on both of their fitness levels, potentially waiting until Saturday’s morning session.
Despite the loss to Albacete in the Copa del Rey and the embarrassing defeat to Benfica in the Champions League, Madrid’s league form has been impressive under Arbeloa. Los Blancos have won all four La Liga games under the new head coach, a run that has seen them move to within one point of Barcelona at the top of the table.

Safest players are Valverde, Vini, Courtois, Camanvinga. The team was balanced before the arrival of Mbappe and won trophies and Mbappe signing disrupted the rhyme of the team. Other players were neglected and the focus was on Mbappe. Never sacrifice a team for a player, this is Real Madrid current crisis. If Real Madrid can fix this, they will bounce back again because they have the squad to make things happen.

I keep wondering what normal minded coach would sideline Carvajal and Arnold to play valverde at left back... not to mention playing camavinga at right back while Carreras and Fran are on the bench... the case of Endrick is really heartbreaking cuz he's full of potential but those coaches won't give him a real chance... this real madrid team at present really sucks

I really doubt the competency of this Antonio Pintus, the real Madrid physical trainer; because this problem of players getting injured started last year when Ancelloti was in charge and the very Pintus was the Madrid physical trainer.Hence, Rodrygo whom we believe was going to start against Valencia is injured which to me doesn't sound good of physical trainer!If this continues,I wish that Madrid should have this man fired.The rate of injuries in Real Madrid is alarming,is a curse?

Madrid needs a mature coach, not this useless boy from the academy. especially the Spanish coaches that are full of racist and favouritism. how a normal coach sideline Endrik, Arnold, and move Valvede from his natural position.
