According to Real Madrid's official website, Mourinho attended the pre-match press conference ahead of the Valencia game in the press room at Real Madrid City.
Mourinho previewed the match: "I think the team is in good shape. We returned from Athens at 3 AM, but we stayed here. No player went home to sleep a few more hours. Yesterday was the first day of recovery, and today is the second. The players' feedback has been very good. It will obviously be tough, but let's not exaggerate for now. We will be ready tomorrow."
Ronaldo Retires from International Football
"I don't want to comment on that. Rather than comment, I think it's better to respect his decision, which is obvious. This is not a retirement from football; his career is not over yet. Those who know him know that he still has goals in his career.
My only hope is that his retirement as a player doesn't come on a day like yesterday. Will we see him as a coach in the future? I don't know what he's thinking, but it's too early to draw conclusions now, because he is still a player."
