Barcelona defender Andreas Christensen revealed his "goal is to be fit" for the 2026-27 season.
Christensen is set to enter his fifth season with the Blaugrana, having signed a new two-year deal earlier this month.
The 30-year-old has made 98 appearances for Barca since joining from Chelsea ahead of the 2022-23 season, winning three LaLiga titles, two Supercopa de Espana crowns and one Copa del Rey.
However, injuries have plagued Christensen over the past two seasons as he has struggled with both Achilles and knee issues.
He has made just 24 appearances since the start of the 2024-25 campaign, with only six of those coming as starts.
Barca begin their LaLiga title defence on August 23 against Elche, and Christensen is determined to make an impact this season.
"Hopefully, I can have an injury-free season, and I hope to be available for the entire season," Christensen said.
"I have a lot of faith in my abilities. My goal is to be fit; that's what I've been preparing for.
"It's a young team, where I can develop my game. The young players already know the fundamentals and are showing their qualities.
"They play for the best club in the world, and the competition is healthy.
"They're young but experienced; six of them have been in the World Cup final. There's a balance.
"The goal is to win as many titles as possible and compete for the Champions League."

He can never be what hansi want him to be, it looks likely flick is just a gambler in the making in defense for the season ahead. How on earth did flick think a player like gerrard martin can compete at highest level during crucial UCL matches, though we know he’s trying but that will never happened, only a world class defender can be reliable when the games get tough during UCL crucial matches. Plus now he’s trying to gamble on injury prone defender not to mention a defender who is very often to make mistakes in UCL (aurojo), what the heck hansi is thinking, is he blind when our backline get expose several times last season or did he think by making just reinforcement in attack will him every game or did he think with that very explosive attacks he will win 5-7 goal every game, without conceding or even will not find it difficult to score a single goal.
