The former Real Madrid man shared the secrets to his success with official La Liga sponsor Clear MEN

Julio Baptista has lifted a whole host of trophies during his glittering career, including the Liga title in 2008 with Real Madrid.

A two-time Copa America champion with Brazil, the former Blanco is still going strong as he enters the 20th year of his career, now with CFR Cluj in Romania.

But what is the secret to the 37-year-old's success?

"Many people say, 'You have to be very lucky.' But I say, 'You have to train hard,'" the Brazilian told official La Liga sponsor, Clear Men.

"I've seen some very talented players come unstuck along the way, and others with less talent become players.

"Why? Because of their persistence and their perseverance to reach their target... nothing is impossible."
