OFFICIAL: Baptiste Santamaría joins Valencia CF until June 2027

Valencia CF have reached an agreement with Stade Rennais FC for the signing of Baptiste Santamaría for the next two seasons, until June 2027.

The 30-year-old footballer (09/03/1995) arrives to reinforce the midfield, where he stands out for his defensive characteristics, being a player capable of providing balance, ball recovery, tactical order, a high physical rhythm and participating in the distribution of the game.

Born in Saint-Doulchard (France), the new Valencia CF player began his professional career at Tours FC in the French second division and since his jump in 2016 to Angers SCO, where he played four seasons, he established himself as one of the most outstanding midfielders in his country.

Santamaría then made the leap to the Bundesliga with SC Freiburg before returning to France in 2021 to play for Stade Rennais FC, a team in which he has played 127 official games, and in the second half of last season, his most recent stage, he played on loan at OGC Nice.

From this Thursday, Baptiste Santamaría joins the work as a new Valencia CF player and will be presented to the media soon.
