OFFICIAL: Dortmund sign Croatian player Marin Pongračić
Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund signed a central defender on the last day of the summer transfer window. Marin Pongracic (23) joins BVB on loan from league competitor VfL Wolfsburg for the 2021/22 season.
The Croatian national player, who was born in Landshut, moved from Salzburg to Lower Saxony in January 2020 and has since played 21 Bundesliga games (2 goals). "Marin is a young, fast-paced central defender who completes our defense," emphasizes BVB sporting director Michael Zorc.Pongracic will start training this afternoon.
