OFFICIAL: Probierz resigns as Poland's coach after conflict with Lewandowski

On June 12, the Poland national team officially announced that Michał Probierz has voluntarily resigned as the head coach of the Poland national team.

Probierz's personal statement:

"After careful consideration, I believe that under the current circumstances, resigning as head coach is the best decision for the best interests of the national team. Holding this position has been the fulfillment of my professional dream and the greatest honor of my life."

"I would like to sincerely thank all my colleagues and the staff of the Polish Football Association. You have always been the ones I can rely on. Thank you to Mr. President and the management of the Polish Football Association for your trust. Of course, I also want to thank all the players I have had the privilege to meet on this journey. I will cheer for all of you, because the national team is our common national treasure. I also want to express my gratitude to our amazing fans - you have been with us through thick and thin. Wherever the national team plays, we can hear your support."
